LoudLode Deal Principles
What every LoudLode deal includes before you ever see legal paperwork.
We do not own your career
We earn on the music release only, for a defined period, by delivering services you can see.
- No 360. We don't take touring, merch, sponsorship, creator income, fan subscriptions or any other non-record income. If we ever fund or work on one of those, it gets its own separate agreement.
- No publishing grab. Our agreements cover the master recording, not the song. You keep your writer and publisher rights.
- One release at a time. Each deal names the exact single, EP or album. No "everything you create while signed."
- Short, fixed terms. You keep ownership. We get a time-limited exclusive license (usually 3–5 years), and then the rights revert to you.
- A release commitment. If we don't release within the agreed window after final delivery, you can take the music elsewhere.
- Clear money. Splits are calculated on money we actually receive, minus distributor fees and only the costs you approved in advance. No overhead, salaries or vague "label expenses."
- You approve spending. Anything outside the budget or above the approval limit needs your written OK first.
- No cross-collateralization. Costs are only recouped from the release that incurred them. Never from another release, and never from another artist.
- Statements you can read. Quarterly itemized statements, a low payment threshold, and a yearly audit right.
- Your identity stays yours. You approve artwork, name and likeness use, final masters, release windows, and any remix or sync that could affect your brand.
- Your audience stays yours. Your accounts, domain, fan list and ad accounts stay in your name, during the deal and after it.
- No guarantees we can't keep. No one can promise playlists, press, radio, sync or stream counts. We promise the work, and we report on it.
